Angus
Angus was found lying in the snow, left for dead. The good people who found him brought him to ARL North, not knowing if he was dead or alive. Upon arrival he was wrapped between two heating pads, and despite this he didn't register a body temperature for over an hour. When his jaws were carefully pried open, we found chunks of frozen steak in his mouth, thus inspiring his name. He was skin and bones with matted fur. But he purred like mad and gave nose kisses when we the staff would treat him, and he clearly showed the spirit of his namesake. His health is improved, and kind woman who found him in the snowbank adopted Angus. All reports are that he is doing fine and is very happy in his new home.
