Carole Cotton sponsors Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire - North’s Lifelong Friends Program
Carole Cotton of Our Favorite Things Collectibles in Albany, NH has donated $3000 to the Lifelong Friends Program at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire - North (ARL North). The program helps match older pet owners who have recently lost a pet or are alone and lonely, with older animals waiting at the shelter for their second chance for a loving home.
“This is exactly the kind of program I can get excited and emotional about,” Cotton commented. “Helping older members of our community and older, less adoptable pets is a wonderful thing — making the golden years of animals and humans more loving and fulfilling! It really works.”
In addition to Cotton’s sponsorship, the Lifelong Friends Program partners ARL North with the following local veterinary practices: Conway Veterinary Hospital, Fryeburg Veterinary Hospital, MWV Mobile Veterinary Clinic, The Art of Alternative Animal Healing and North Country Animal Hospital. Through referral from these participating veterinarians, potential adopters are referred to the shelter to meet their perfect match.
ARL North Executive Director Virginia Moore said, “I am so pleased to have the support of Carole Cotton for the Lifelong Friends Program. It is very rewarding to see these animals go to happy homes, and Carole’s sentiment matches my own — what a win-win situation for human and animal alike.”
